As a family we saw in 2022 at Leolapa in Mjejane private game reserve. To say we had a great time would be a massive understatement. I have travelled to many self catering places throughout the Kruger and South Africa and have never stayed at such a well appointed or located unit. Spacious, Luxurious, private it ticks all the boxes. Inspite of inclement weather we saw phenomenal game during our stay and was serenaded one two nights by lions calling not far from the unit. I would highly recomend a stay at Leolapa for anyone needed to unplug and recharge the soul.

The most spectacular, luxurious, totally fabulous place to stay! Our few days in this paradise were simply fabulous with spectacular views over the Crocodile river which flowed past no more than 200 metres away. The sounds of Hippo’s that were always to be seen never ceased to amaze and the most amazing site was on the first day there when a herd of about 30 elephants crossed the river directly opposite us. Extremely comforatble surroundings with air conditioned rooms and Wi-Fi throughout; what more can you want?!!

We stayed as a family for the 2021/2022 new years period and it was pure heaven. The unit has everything you could possibly need and want. I have stayed throughout the Kruger and South Africa and the unit has everything and everything in working order. The location is simply superb, the views over the river, the privacy you feel it is just incredible. To lie in bed and hear the Hippo’s grunting and lions roaring in the distance was very special. I can highly recommend and stay at Leolapa.

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful house in The Kruger. Lots of hippo, elephant and giraffe sightings from the veranda. Excellent game drives too.

A beautiful place with a perfect view of the river, the game drives are great but no need to leave the house as game viewing from the deck is excellent. The en-suite bedrooms are beautiful and quiet. A worthwhile bush experience.

A wonderfully peaceful, luxurious, home away from home. The views over the river are fabulous and the animals come to you. I could see sit on the on patio forever. Highly recommended.
